How it works

Switch hosts in four steps

  1. 1

    Choose your current provider

Select cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin or a WordPress site over FTP.

  2. 2

    Enter your old hosting details

Provide the login details the tool needs to read your existing account.

  3. 3

    Pick what to move

Migrate every site at once, or choose individual websites, databases and mailboxes.

  4. 4

    Preview, then go live

Check the site on a temporary URL, then update your domain’s nameservers or DNS when you’re happy.

Troubleshooting

If a migration doesn’t complete

Most migrations finish without help, but the old server sometimes blocks the process. These are the most common causes and fixes.

  • Stuck at “Waiting for cPanel backup”: the old account may be over quota or suspended, the server may be busy, or the site is simply large.
  • Connection blocked: allow our migration IP range 45.8.227.0/24 in your old host’s firewall.
  • Plesk migration fails immediately: ask your host to enable Plesk API access.
  • WordPress over FTP fails: keep wp-config.php with the core files, use 755/644 permissions and make sure the domain points to the old host.
